D the B, solo, May 10th
Yo! … Long time, no chat.
Man, the stuff’s been going on over here.
I started a running program, a creative group, and went to a couple of Springsteen shows. This week, Mel and I attended four rock shows — Kid Rock and Reverend Run! Mike Ness! — traveled from Port Aransas to Houston to Dallas and back to Austin (the second time in three weeks for me on that particular path), and then had the pleasure of bailing a friend out of county jail.
It’s been like that.
Anyway, the important thing is: the music rolls on. I’ll be doing a solo gig at the Flamingo Ranch Art Show on Saturday, May 10th, and I would appreciate all the support I can get. … The last time I did a solo show was in the early 80’s.
I’m even gonna roll out a new song, and try out my home-brewed foot-pedal.
